2014 Glacier Institute Charity Auction Now Underway!

The Glacier Institute is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1983 by passionate scientists who wanted to share their love of Glacier Park and the Crown of the Continent ecosystem. The Institute is dedicated to providing quality outdoor educational opportunities for elementary school children at their Big Creek Discovery School through day programs and overnight camping experiences. To date, the Institute had provided over 27,000 scholarships to underserved youth and have never turned away a child in need of financial assistance.

They also provide custom Adventure Camps and Outdoor Education courses for youth and adults alike at their Field Camp Site in Glacier National Park. Instructors are recognized experts in their fields, published authors, wildlife biologists, college professors, naturalists and teachers. By joining as a member of the Glacier Institute, or even just participating in this fun event, you can help support the next generation of teachers, river ecologists, naturalists, wildlife biologists and innovators!

The Institute can only continue its mission through generous support from giving individuals like you. One way to help, and get some terrific prizes in the process, is to participate in this Annual On-Line Charity Auction which is now underway through December 1st. There are many great items offered this year, including a 16" x 20" matted print of "Sleeping Bear" (pictured at left) signed by Rick.
