Spring 2010 images by Rick and Dody Sheremeta Spring is a beautiful time of year to visit Zion. Weather is pleasant and the summer crowds have yet to arrive. Campground capacity is ample - although early arrival helps assure you'll get a spot for the night. Shuttle bus service is the only way to go up Canyon after April 1st but it's more than convenient - you never have to wait more than 5 minutes to catch a shuttle going either way.Comments: 0 Viewed: 523

Spring 2010 images by Rick and Dody Sheremeta Spring is a great time but weather can be quite fickle. Close to Moab, this is one of the most popular National Parks. Campground is at the end of the Park road and has very limited number of sites - sites are by reservation with only a few available for walk-ins. You'll need to be there promptly at 10:00 AM to have any chance of getting a site for the night.Comments: 0 Viewed: 486

Spring 2010 images from Needles District by Rick and Dody SheremetaThe Needles District affords some terrific opportunities for great photography. It's pretty isolated and there are no amenities. The campground is fairly small but the sites themselves are quite generous - get there early to secure a site since there are no reservations. There is a BLM Campground however outside the Park. Spring is a great time to visit as daytime temperatures are more tolerable.Comments: 0 Viewed: 496
